Jaiyq 1-2 FK Arys — FK Arys claimed a hard-fought 2-1 away victory over Jaiyq in Kazakhstan Division 1 on 22 October 2026. A late goal at 17:00 secured the three points for Arys after Jaiyq had fought back to level the score, making it a frustrating afternoon for the home side.

Match overview

Jaiyq controlled much of the ball and created the better chances in open play, but FK Arys defended with discipline and attacked with purpose. The visitors took an early lead and then absorbed pressure, relying on compact lines and quick counter-attacks. Jaiyq’s equaliser early in the second half raised hopes of a comeback, but Arys found a second wind in the final 10 minutes and grabbed the winner.

Key moments

• 17 minutes: FK Arys opened the scoring through Yerlan Kuanyshev, who cut inside from the left and curled a shot beyond the goalkeeper.
• 54 minutes: Jaiyq equalised when Ruslan Akhmetov converted a low cross after a sustained spell of pressure.
• 82 minutes: Daniyar Nurgaliyev scored the winner for FK Arys, finishing from the edge of the box after a quick break.

Tactical story

Jaiyq’s approach was built on possession and patient probing, but they struggled to break down a well-drilled Arys defence. The visitors kept their shape, blocked crosses and forced Jaiyq into sideways passing. When Arys won the ball, they moved forward quickly and targeted the space behind the home full-backs. That pattern produced the opening goal and the late winner. Jaiyq’s equaliser came from their best passage of play, but they could not maintain that intensity after drawing level.

Standout players

Yerlan Kuanyshev and Daniyar Nurgaliyev were the decisive attacking players for FK Arys, each producing a moment of quality in the final third. The Arys goalkeeper also made several important saves, particularly during Jaiyq’s strongest spell after half-time. For Jaiyq, Ruslan Akhmetov was the standout performer, scoring the equaliser and linking play intelligently, but his effort was not enough to earn a result.

Season impact

The win gives FK Arys an important away result in the Kazakhstan Division 1 campaign and reinforces their ability to grind out tight matches. Jaiyq will be disappointed to lose at home after showing spells of control, but the performance offered positives in possession. In a league where fine margins decide table positions, Arys’s late composure could prove valuable.
