Tactical Analysis

Yokohama FC Seagulls Women lined up in a 4-3-3, looking to use width and overload the flanks. Their midfield trio controlled the tempo, but VONDS Ichihara Women defended deep in a compact 4-5-1 block, making it difficult for the hosts to find space in behind. The striker who scored the opener also impressed with her intelligent movement and clinical finishing.
