AC Nagano Parceiro Secure 3-1 Away Win at Kochi United in J3 League

AC Nagano Parceiro produced a clinical away performance on Saturday, October 10, 2026, defeating Kochi United 3-1 at the Kochi Haruno Athletic Stadium. The victory strengthened Nagano’s push toward the J3 League promotion places and exposed Kochi’s ongoing struggles at the back.

Nagano began the match on the front foot and took the lead in the 9th minute through Ryosuke Kikuchi, who pounced on a defensive hesitation and slotted the ball past the goalkeeper. Kochi responded with energy and equalized in the 38th minute when Shun Ito finished off a well-worked move down the left.

Match Overview

The first half was competitive, with Kochi United showing spirit and pressing high to disrupt Nagano’s rhythm. However, AC Nagano Parceiro remained composed in possession and always looked dangerous when they played through midfield. Their diamond shape allowed them to overload central areas and create chances between the lines.

After halftime, Nagano took control. Kikuchi scored his second in the 67th minute, finishing a flowing team move, before Kenji Matsuda added a third in the 84th minute with a powerful strike from outside the box. Kochi pushed late but could not find a way back into the match.

Key Moments

• 9th minute: Ryosuke Kikuchi gave AC Nagano Parceiro an early lead after a defensive error.
• 38th minute: Shun Ito equalized for Kochi United with a composed finish.
• 67th minute: Kikuchi restored Nagano’s lead with his second goal of the game.
• 84th minute: Kenji Matsuda sealed the win with a long-range strike.

Tactical Story

Nagano’s midfield diamond was the key tactical feature. It allowed them to dominate the center of the pitch, with their full-backs providing width and their forwards making intelligent runs in behind. Kochi’s high pressing created a few turnovers, but it also left space for Nagano to exploit once they bypassed the first line of pressure.

Kochi United’s equalizer was a reward for their persistence, but defensive lapses proved costly. Nagano’s second and third goals both came from situations where Kochi failed to track runners or close down space quickly enough. Against a promotion-chasing side, those mistakes were punished ruthlessly.

Standout Players

Ryosuke Kikuchi was the outstanding player for AC Nagano Parceiro, scoring twice and leading the line with intelligence. Kenji Matsuda also impressed, adding a spectacular goal and controlling the tempo from midfield. Their combination of movement and composure proved too much for Kochi.

For Kochi United, Shun Ito was the main threat, taking his goal well and working hard to link play. Goalkeeper Daiki Morimoto made several saves to keep the score respectable, but he was left exposed by his defense on too many occasions.

J3 League Table and Season Impact

The three points lift AC Nagano Parceiro’s confidence and improve their position in the J3 League standings. With the season reaching a critical stage, away wins of this quality are exactly what promotion contenders need. Nagano’s attacking output will be a major asset in the coming weeks.

Kochi United remain in need of defensive improvement. The defeat highlights the gap between them and the division’s stronger sides, but their first-half response showed there is a platform to build on. Turning those promising spells into 90-minute performances will be the challenge.
