Trevigliese defeated Cisanese 3-1 in the Italy Amateur Eccellenza Puglia on 20 September 2026, delivering a strong home performance built on quick attacking play and clinical finishing. The win gave Trevigliese a clear boost in the regional league table and left Cisanese searching for answers after a difficult afternoon.

Match Overview

Trevigliese started brightly and took control of the midfield, moving the ball with purpose and stretching Cisanese’s defence. Cisanese tried to respond on the counter, but they struggled to maintain possession under pressure. Trevigliese’s two-goal lead at half-time reflected their superiority, and although Cisanese pulled one back after the break, the home side restored their advantage and saw out the match comfortably.

Key Moments

• Opening goal: Trevigliese went ahead after a quick move down the left, finished with a low shot across the goalkeeper.
• Second goal: A second arrived before half-time, with a midfielder arriving late in the box to convert a cut-back.
• Cisanese response: Cisanese gave themselves hope with a goal early in the second half, capitalising on a defensive mix-up.
• Third goal: Trevigliese sealed the win with a well-taken third, finishing off a fast break.

Tactical Story

Trevigliese used width well and looked dangerous whenever they switched play quickly. Their midfield pressed Cisanese into mistakes and won the ball back in advanced areas. Cisanese improved after their goal and enjoyed a brief spell of pressure, but Trevigliese’s defence stayed calm and limited clear chances in the final 20 minutes.

Standout Players

Trevigliese’s wide players caused problems throughout, combining pace with intelligent movement. The central midfielder who scored the second goal was particularly effective in linking defence and attack. For Cisanese, the goalkeeper made several saves to keep the score respectable, while their striker took his goal well.

What the Result Means

The three points lift Trevigliese in the Eccellenza Puglia standings and underline their ability to score goals in different ways. Cisanese will need to tighten up defensively and avoid losing possession in dangerous areas. The result keeps Trevigliese in a positive early-season position, while Cisanese must regroup quickly ahead of their next match.
