Tactical story

Tritium’s width caused problems throughout, with both wingers stretching the Virtus Ciserano Bergamo back line and creating space for late runs into the box. The home side’s midfield pressed effectively to win the ball back quickly, and their set-piece threat added a second goal. Virtus Ciserano Bergamo improved after the break but struggled to break down a well-organised Tritium defence.

Standout players

Greco’s opening goal was the standout moment of individual quality, while Costa’s aerial presence made him a constant threat from set pieces. Tritium’s goalkeeper also deserves mention for a composed display, including a key second-half save.

Table and season impact

The three points lift Tritium’s confidence and strengthen their position in the Serie D standings. Virtus Ciserano Bergamo will need to find more creativity in attack after a frustrating away defeat, but the scoreline could have been different had they taken their first-half opportunity.
