S.S. Teramo Calcio and Vigor Senigallia delivered an extraordinary ten-goal spectacle in Italian Serie D, with Teramo running out 6-4 winners in a match that will be remembered for its relentless attacking football. The scoreline alone tells the story: defensive organisation was abandoned almost entirely in favour of end-to-end action.

Match Overview

This was not a match for the faint-hearted. Teramo took control early with sharp, aggressive attacking play, but Vigor Senigallia refused to fold, responding repeatedly and keeping the contest alive. Every time the visitors clawed their way back, Teramo found another gear and another goal.

The ten-goal total makes this one of the highest-scoring fixtures of the Serie D season, and it underlined both teams' strengths and weaknesses. Teramo's firepower was undeniable; Vigor Senigallia's resilience was admirable, but their defensive errors proved costly.

Key Moments

• Fast start: Teramo opened the scoring early and set the tone for a high-tempo contest.
• Constant response: Vigor Senigallia equalised and pulled goals back repeatedly, refusing to let the game slip.
• Teramo's surge: A burst of goals in the middle period gave the hosts a cushion they would not surrender.
• Late drama: Even with the game's outcome becoming clearer, both sides kept attacking, producing further goals.

Tactical Story

Teramo's attacking structure was excellent, with quick combinations and intelligent runs pulling Vigor Senigallia's defence out of position. The hosts were ruthless in the box and converted their chances at a high rate. However, their willingness to commit players forward left them vulnerable at the back — hence the four conceded.

Vigor Senigallia's approach was brave but flawed. They matched Teramo's attacking intensity but lacked the same defensive discipline, and their midfield struggled to track runners. In a game of this nature, one or two defensive mistakes are usually enough to decide the result; here, there were many more.

Standout Performers

Teramo's attacking unit delivered a statement performance, with multiple players contributing goals and assists. Vigor Senigallia's forward line also deserves credit for scoring four away from home — a feat that should normally secure at least a draw. Their goalkeeper and defenders, however, endured a difficult night.

Table and Season Impact

The 6-4 victory gives Teramo a significant boost, three points and a strong goal-difference contribution. In Serie D, where promotion and relegation can hinge on fine margins, a win of this magnitude could prove valuable. Vigor Senigallia, meanwhile, will be concerned about conceding six goals, even if their attacking display offered encouragement.

This match was a reminder of the unpredictability and entertainment value of lower-division Italian football. Teramo's firepower was the difference, but both sides will take lessons from a chaotic, thrilling contest.
