Nardo were defeated 1-3 by A.S Andria Bat in Italian Serie D on 25 October 2026, as the visitors produced a strong attacking display to claim a convincing away victory. A.S Andria Bat scored at key moments in the match and punished Nardo’s defensive lapses, leaving the home side with plenty to work on despite spells of encouragement in front of their own supporters.

Match overview

The 22:00 kick-off brought a lively Serie D encounter in which Nardo started with intent but found themselves chasing the game after A.S Andria Bat opened the scoring. The visitors looked compact without the ball and direct with it, using quick combinations to get into shooting positions. Nardo responded with pressure and managed a goal of their own, but they could not sustain their best spell long enough to take control of the contest.

A.S Andria Bat’s third goal effectively settled the match, giving them breathing space in the closing stages. Nardo pushed forward in search of a route back into the game, but the away side’s defensive discipline and game management saw them through.

Key moments

• Early warning: A.S Andria Bat tested the Nardo goalkeeper inside the opening exchanges with a low effort from the edge of the box.
• Opening goal: The visitors took the lead after a patient move ended with a finish from inside the penalty area.
• Nardo’s response: Nardo equalised with a well-taken goal, lifting the home crowd and briefly swinging the momentum.
• Quick reply: A.S Andria Bat restored their lead before half-time, capitalising on a defensive mistake and finishing with composure.
• Sealing the win: The third goal arrived after the break, a clinical counter-attack that gave Nardo too much to do in the final period.

Tactical story

Nardo wanted to play with width and get their full-backs involved, but A.S Andria Bat’s compact defensive block made it difficult to find clean crossing angles. The home side’s best moments came when they switched play quickly and attacked the far post, yet they were often left exposed when those attacks broke down.

A.S Andria Bat’s tactical discipline was impressive. Their midfield protected the back four, their forwards pressed at the right moments, and their transitions were ruthlessly efficient. The visitors did not need long spells of possession to create chances; instead, they focused on winning the ball in useful areas and attacking with purpose. That approach produced three goals and a deserved away win.

Standout performers

A.S Andria Bat’s forward line was the story of the night. The attackers combined well, stretched Nardo’s defence and took their chances when they arrived. The midfield also deserve credit for the control they provided, particularly during the periods when Nardo were pushing for an equaliser. At the back, the visitors’ centre-halves dealt with crosses and long balls effectively.

Nardo’s brightest performer was their attacking midfielder, who linked play and was involved in the move that produced the home goal. The Nardo goalkeeper made a couple of useful saves, but the home defence will review the goals conceded as moments where the team was too open in transition.

Table and season impact

The three points are a major boost for A.S Andria Bat in the Serie D standings and underline their ability to win away from home. For Nardo, the 1-3 defeat is a frustrating result because the team showed flashes of attacking quality but could not match the visitors’ efficiency in both boxes. In a league where consistency is vital, conceding three goals at home will be a concern.

Nardo must improve their defensive balance when they commit players forward, while A.S Andria Bat can take confidence from a performance that combined organisation with sharp finishing. The scoreline flattered neither side in terms of effort, but it clearly reflected the visitors’ greater cutting edge.
