FB Brindisi 1912 delivered a ruthless home performance to defeat Real Agro Aversa 3-0 in Italian Serie D on Sunday, October 4, 2026. The win was built on a bright start, clinical finishing, and a defence that never looked seriously troubled.

Match Overview

Brindisi came out with intent and took the lead early, settling any nerves and forcing Real Agro Aversa onto the back foot. The second goal arrived midway through the first half, a reward for persistent pressing and sharp movement in the final third. Aversa tried to respond, but they struggled to keep the ball long enough to build sustained attacks.

The third goal came in the second half, effectively putting the game beyond doubt. Brindisi managed the closing stages professionally, keeping possession and limiting their opponents to speculative efforts. The clean sheet was the perfect complement to a convincing attacking display.

Key Moments

• Early breakthrough: Brindisi scored inside the first 15 minutes with a low drive from the edge of the box.
• Second goal: A well-timed run behind the defence was finished with composure.
• Third goal: A set-piece routine ended with a powerful header to seal the win.

Tactical Story

Brindisi deployed a 4-4-2 that became a 4-2-4 in possession, with the wingers pushing high and the full-backs providing width. Real Agro Aversa tried to sit deep and counter, but they were unable to cope with Brindisi's quick passing and overloads on the flanks. The home side's midfield won the majority of duels, and their defence stepped up to catch Aversa's forwards offside on several occasions.

Standout Players

The Brindisi striker was a constant menace, involved in all three goals with a goal and an assist. The centre-back who headed in the third was rock-solid at the back, while the goalkeeper made one important save to preserve the clean sheet. For Real Agro Aversa, the midfielder who tried to drive his team forward was one of the few bright spots.

Table Impact

This 3-0 result strengthens Brindisi's position in the Serie D standings and sends a message to the rest of the division. Real Agro Aversa will need to address their defensive organisation after conceding three times on the road. With the season still young, both teams have time to shape their campaigns, but Brindisi will be buoyed by this comprehensive victory.
