Tactical Story

AC Leon Monza Brianza were well organised without the ball, sitting in a compact block and inviting Real Calepina FC to play in front of them. Real Calepina FC tried to stretch the play using their wide players, and they did manage to put crosses into dangerous areas. The problem was the lack of a finishing touch, as AC Leon Monza Brianza’s centre-backs consistently won the first contact. The visitors’ second goal was a textbook counterattack, punishing Real Calepina for committing too many players forward.

Standout Players

AC Leon Monza Brianza’s forward was the match-winner, scoring the opening goal and leading the line with intelligent movement. The central midfielder controlled the tempo and helped shield the defence, while the goalkeeper made a vital first-half save to preserve the lead. The full-backs also contributed well, balancing defensive duties with support in attack.

For Real Calepina FC, the captain in midfield never stopped working and tried to drive the team forward. The winger on the right delivered several promising crosses, and the goalkeeper made a number of saves to keep the score respectable. Despite the defeat, there were positive signs in their second-half response.
