Certosa Vigor Campagnano and USD Latte Dolce shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in Italian Serie D on 25 October 2026, a result that reflected a contest of contrasting halves and increasing tension as the evening wore on. Both sides had spells of control, but neither could find the winning goal in the closing stages.

Match overview

Latte Dolce made the sharper start and were rewarded with an early goal, briefly silencing the home support. Certosa Vigor Campagnano responded well, gradually pushing higher up the pitch and forcing their opponents into deeper positions. The equaliser arrived after the break, and from that point the match opened up, with both teams trading chances in an end-to-end finish.

Key moments

• 12th minute: USD Latte Dolce took the lead through Davide Serra, who capitalised on a loose ball inside the penalty area.
• 58th minute: Certosa Vigor Campagnano levelled when Matteo Conti met a cross with a well-timed header.
• 72nd minute: Latte Dolce threatened again from a set piece, but the home goalkeeper reacted well to keep the score level.
• 89th minute: Certosa pushed for a late winner, only for a last-ditch block to deny them at the edge of the six-yard box.

Tactical story

Certosa’s improvement came from a more aggressive midfield press, which stopped Latte Dolce from playing through the centre with the same ease they had shown early on. The visitors remained compact and looked to strike on transitions, while Certosa relied on width and crosses to create pressure. It made for a balanced contest in which neither defensive unit was fully comfortable.

Standout players

Conti’s equaliser was the highlight for Certosa, and his movement in the box gave the home side a constant outlet. Serra’s early goal and overall energy made him Latte Dolce’s most influential attacker, while both goalkeepers produced important saves in the second half.

Season impact

A point apiece keeps both teams moving, though the draw may feel like a missed opportunity for a Certosa side that finished the stronger. Latte Dolce will take encouragement from their early control and resilience, but they will also know that holding a lead would have made the journey home far more satisfying.
