Kicking off at 21:00, the contest had the feel of a local rivalry, with both teams committed to attacking football. Certosa Vigor Campagnano struck first, Aranova replied, but the hosts had the final word in a dramatic second half.

Match Overview

Certosa Vigor Campagnano started with energy and intent, pressing Aranova high and forcing errors in the visitors' defensive third. Their early dominance was rewarded with the opening goal, a well-worked move that exposed space on the edge of the box.

Aranova responded well, gradually playing their way into the match. They equalised after the interval with a determined attacking sequence, setting up a tense final half-hour. Both teams had chances to take the lead before Certosa Vigor Campagnano found the decisive goal late on.

Key Moments

• Opening goal: Certosa Vigor Campagnano took the lead with a composed finish after sustained pressure.
• Aranova equaliser: The visitors levelled in the second half, capitalising on a defensive lapse and finishing confidently.
• Goalkeeping heroics: Certosa's goalkeeper made a crucial save to deny Aranova a second goal.
• Late winner: With the match heading towards a draw, Certosa Vigor Campagnano scored the decisive goal from a quick attacking move.

Tactical Story

Certosa Vigor Campagnano set up to dominate possession and create chances through quick combinations in wide areas. Their full-backs pushed high, allowing the wingers to drift inside and overload Aranova's midfield. That approach worked well in the first half, but it also left space for Aranova to exploit on the counter.

Aranova adapted after the break, pressing more aggressively and finding joy through the channels. Their equaliser came from exactly that kind of transition. However, as they pushed for a winner, they left themselves open at the back, and Certosa punished them with a late strike that underlined the home side's attacking quality.

Standout Players

Certosa Vigor Campagnano's attacking players were the difference-makers. The No. 10 linked play intelligently, while the wide forwards caused constant problems with their movement and direct running. The late match-winner showed great composure to finish under pressure.

For ASD Aranova, the central midfielder was impressive, driving forward and connecting defence with attack. Their equaliser was well taken, and the goalkeeper made several saves to keep the visitors in contention. In the end, though, Aranova were left to rue the timing of the decisive goal.

Season Impact

The 2-1 victory gives Certosa Vigor Campagnano a confidence-boosting three points and strengthens their position in the Serie D standings. Winning tight matches at home is often the foundation of a successful season, and this performance showed character as well as quality. ASD Aranova can take heart from their fightback but will be disappointed not to leave with at least a point. The result adds another memorable chapter to what is already proving to be a competitive Serie D campaign.
