Bisceglie 1913 3-1 Ischia Isolaverde — Bisceglie 1913 produced their most convincing display of the campaign so far, sweeping past Ischia Isolaverde with a three-goal performance in front of their home supporters.

A statement home win

From the first whistle, Bisceglie set the tempo. The hosts pressed aggressively, moved the ball with purpose and pinned Ischia Isolaverde back inside their own half for long stretches of the opening period. The only surprise was that it took until midway through the first half for the breakthrough to arrive.

Once the deadlock was broken, the match took on a clear shape. Bisceglie's confidence grew with every passing minute, and Ischia found themselves chasing shadows in midfield as the home side circulated possession with real authority.

The goals

• 1-0 Bisceglie: A weaving run from the left ended with a shot that took a slight deflection on its way past the goalkeeper.
• 2-0 Bisceglie: A perfectly weighted through ball split the defence and the striker finished calmly one-on-one.
• 3-0 Bisceglie: The third came early in the second half, a header from a corner that effectively ended the contest.
• 3-1 Ischia: A late consolation arrived from a set piece, a small reward for a difficult evening's work.

Tactical story

Bisceglie's success stemmed from their dominance in wide areas. Both full-backs advanced persistently, stretching the Ischia defensive line and creating space for the inside forwards to drift into central positions. The visitors never fully solved that problem, and their midfield was repeatedly pulled out of shape trying to cover.

Ischia Isolaverde, for their part, struggled to keep possession long enough to build any sustained pressure. When they did win the ball back, the options ahead were limited, and a series of hopeful long passes were comfortably dealt with by the home defence.

Standout performers

The Bisceglie striker who scored the second goal was the game's outstanding individual, combining intelligent movement with ruthless finishing. His link-up play around the penalty area gave his teammates a constant target and created space for runners from deep.

The home goalkeeper, largely untroubled for seventy minutes, produced one excellent save to preserve the three-goal cushion before the late consolation. For Ischia, the substitute who came on at half-time brought energy and was involved in the goal, offering a rare bright note on a long away trip.

Table and season impact

This victory gives Bisceglie 1913 a strong platform in the standings and underlines their potential to challenge for the upper reaches of the division. A three-goal home performance is exactly the kind of result that builds belief in the dressing room and sends a message to rivals.

Ischia Isolaverde will want to move on quickly. Conceding three goals on the road is difficult to recover from, and their next fixtures will be important for restoring confidence and tightening a defence that was exposed too often here.
