Tactical story

Treviso’s win was built on resilience and game management. They were not always dominant in possession, but they defended their penalty area well and took advantage of the key moments when they arrived. The home side’s midfield worked tirelessly to deny AC Dolomiti Bellunesi space between the lines, forcing the visitors to play more predictable crosses.

AC Dolomiti Bellunesi showed why they are a difficult opponent, enjoying long spells of possession and creating problems after half-time. However, they were unable to turn their territorial advantage into enough clear chances. Treviso’s ability to respond after conceding proved decisive, and the winning goal came from a moment of composure in a crowded box.

Standout performers

Treviso’s match-winner deserves the headlines, but the home side’s central defenders were equally important in the final minutes. The goalkeeper also made a crucial save late on to preserve the lead. For AC Dolomiti Bellunesi, the midfielder who drove the second-half comeback was their standout player, but the team will be disappointed not to have taken at least a point.

Table impact

The three points are significant for Treviso in the Serie C standings, especially in a match that could prove important in the race for promotion or playoff positions. AC Dolomiti Bellunesi will take encouragement from their performance but will rue the timing of the winning goal. Treviso now have momentum, while the visitors must respond in their next outing.
