Giana claimed a 2-1 victory over Union Brescia in Italian Serie C, using home advantage and a strong first-half display to secure all three points. Giana went ahead through a composed finish and doubled their advantage before the interval, putting the visitors under real pressure.

How the match was won

Union Brescia improved after the break and pulled one goal back, setting up a tense finish. Giana dropped deeper to protect their lead but defended their box well, limiting clear chances and managing the closing stages with maturity. The hosts’ pressing in midfield and quick transitions proved the difference in a match that was more comfortable than the final scoreline suggests.

The win boosts Giana’s position in the Serie C standings and strengthens their momentum, while Union Brescia are left to reflect on a slow start that ultimately cost them. Brescia’s second-half response offers encouragement, but the result underlines how important defensive discipline is in a tightly packed division.
