Sha LAN U19 0-3 Benevento Youth: Visitors Cruise in Campionato Primavera 2

Benevento Youth delivered a dominant away performance to beat Sha LAN U19 3-0 in the Italian Campionato Primavera 2 on October 10, 2026. The visitors controlled the match from start to finish, scoring in each phase of the game and never allowing Sha LAN to establish any sustained rhythm.

Match Overview

The contest was decided by Benevento’s superior intensity and organization. They pressed Sha LAN U19 high up the pitch, forced turnovers in dangerous areas, and converted their chances with clinical efficiency. Sha LAN struggled to keep possession, and whenever they did manage to progress into the attacking third, Benevento’s defense closed the space quickly.

The 3-0 scoreline accurately reflected the balance of play. Benevento were sharper in the duels, more precise in the final third, and more composed when protecting their lead. For Sha LAN U19, it was a frustrating evening against one of the stronger sides in the division.

Key Moments

• 9th minute: Benevento Youth took the lead early after a high press forced a misplaced pass. The ball was quickly worked into the box and finished with a low shot.
• 52nd minute: The visitors doubled their advantage at the start of the second half. A driving run from midfield opened up space, and a clever through ball was converted at the near post.
• 78th minute: Benevento added a third goal to put the result beyond doubt. A well-delivered cross from the left was headed home with power.

Tactical Story

Benevento Youth lined up with a high defensive line and an aggressive pressing scheme designed to suffocate Sha LAN’s build-up. Their midfield trio rotated constantly, making it difficult for Sha LAN to find passing lanes through the center. When Benevento won the ball, they attacked vertically and with purpose, often reaching the penalty area in just a few passes.

Sha LAN U19 tried to play out from the back, but the pressure proved too much. Their wide players were isolated, and the strikers received little service. A switch to a more direct approach after half-time offered brief relief, but Benevento’s defensive discipline remained intact. The visitors managed the closing stages professionally, keeping a clean sheet and conserving energy.

Standout Players

Benevento’s central midfielder dictated the tempo and was involved in nearly every meaningful attack. Their striker showed excellent movement, scoring one goal and creating space for others. The left winger was a constant outlet, delivering dangerous crosses throughout the match. For Sha LAN U19, the goalkeeper made several saves to prevent an even heavier defeat, and the captain tried to rally the team from midfield.

Standings and Season Impact

The win strengthens Benevento Youth’s position in the Campionato Primavera 2 table and adds to their momentum in the youth league campaign. Sha LAN U19 remain in need of points and will need to improve their ball retention and defensive organization in upcoming fixtures. Benevento’s 3-0 victory was a statement performance, underlining their quality in both phases of the game.
