Pescara Youth and Sha LAN U19 shared the points in a thrilling 3-3 draw in Campionato Primavera 2 on 17 October 2026, producing one of the most entertaining matches of the round. The lead changed hands more than once, and neither side was able to hold on for victory in a frantic final period.

Match overview

Pescara Youth began brightly and took the game to their opponents, using quick passing and movement to create early openings. Sha LAN U19 responded with pace on the counter and were dangerous whenever they broke forward. The first half set the tone for an open contest, with both defences struggling to contain the opposition’s attacking transitions. By the interval, the scoreline was already level and the stage was set for a dramatic second half.

Key moments

Pescara opened the scoring after a sustained spell of pressure, but Sha LAN equalised soon after with a well-executed counter-attack. The visitors then took the lead early in the second half, only for Pescara to respond through a set-piece. A third goal for Sha LAN looked like it might be the winner, but Pescara pushed forward again and found an equaliser in the closing stages. Both teams had chances to snatch all three points in stoppage time.

Tactical story

The match was defined by its end-to-end nature. Pescara wanted to dominate the ball and pin Sha LAN back, but their aggressive full-back positioning left space for the visitors to exploit. Sha LAN were happy to sit slightly deeper and spring forward at speed, and their direct running caused problems throughout. Neither side managed to establish full control, which made for a breathless spectacle.

Standout performers

Pescara’s attacking midfielder was at the heart of most of his team’s best moves, contributing a goal and an assist. Sha LAN’s right-sided forward was a constant threat with his pace and directness, while both goalkeepers made important saves despite conceding three goals apiece. The Pescara captain also stood out for his leadership during the late push for an equaliser.

Season impact

A point apiece may feel like both a relief and a missed opportunity. Pescara Youth showed character to come back late, while Sha LAN U19 demonstrated their attacking quality but will be disappointed not to have held on. In the Campionato Primavera 2 table, the draw keeps both teams moving but leaves them aware that tighter defensive displays will be needed if they are to climb consistently.
