Beitar Jerusalem Oren U19 delivered a ruthless away performance to thrash Hapoel Raanana Roei U19 6-1 in the Israel Youth League on 18 October 2026. The visitors were sharper in both boxes, converted their chances with clinical efficiency, and turned a competitive opening period into a one-sided result by the final whistle.

Match overview

Hapoel Raanana Roei U19 began with energy and tried to press Beitar Jerusalem Oren U19 high up the pitch. That approach created a few early half-chances, but it also left space behind the defence. Beitar absorbed the pressure, broke forward at speed, and once they took the lead, the match tilted firmly in their favour. The visitors’ movement between the lines proved too difficult for Raanana to track.

Key moments

• Opening goal: Beitar’s forward latched onto a through ball and finished calmly to set the tone.
• Quick double: Two goals in a short spell before half-time gave the visitors a commanding cushion.
• Raanana’s reply: The hosts pulled one back with a determined run and finish, briefly raising hopes of a comeback.
• Second-half blitz: Beitar scored three more after the break to complete the rout.
• Late flourish: A sixth goal in the closing stages underlined the visitors’ dominance.

Tactical story

Beitar Jerusalem Oren U19 used a flexible attacking shape that stretched Raanana’s back line. Their wingers stayed wide, the striker dropped deep to link play, and the midfield runners exploited the gaps. Raanana’s high press was brave but risky; once Beitar played through the first line, they had acres of space to attack. The hosts also struggled to win second balls, which allowed Beitar to sustain pressure and build wave after wave of attacks.

Standout players

Beitar’s centre-forward was the standout performer, leading the line with strength and intelligent movement and finishing with real composure. The attacking midfielder dictated the tempo and provided a stream of through balls, while the defence stayed disciplined after the early exchanges. For Hapoel Raanana Roei U19, the goalkeeper made several saves to prevent an even heavier defeat, and their goalscorer showed good persistence in a difficult afternoon.

Table and season impact

The emphatic win boosts Beitar Jerusalem Oren U19’s goal difference and confidence in the Israel Youth League, signalling that they will be a difficult side to contain this season. Hapoel Raanana Roei U19 will need to review their defensive structure and spacing, especially when pressing high. The result is a clear reminder of how quickly youth matches can turn when chances are converted and transitions are executed at pace.
