Hapoel Raanana Women produced a dominant 3-0 victory over Bnot Netanya Women in the Israel Women’s First National on 30 October 2026. The home side controlled large parts of the match, scored at key moments, and protected their lead with a professional second-half display.

Match overview

Hapoel Raanana started brightly and quickly established themselves in Bnot Netanya’s half. Their pressing forced turnovers in dangerous areas, and their midfield created a steady flow of chances through quick combinations and intelligent movement off the ball. Bnot Netanya initially tried to stay compact, but the home side’s patience and width eventually stretched the defensive block.

The opening goal gave Raanana the confidence to keep pushing. Rather than sitting on the lead, they continued to dictate possession and created further problems with runs from deep. Bnot Netanya’s best moments came on the break, but those attacks were too sporadic to trouble the home defence consistently.

Key moments

Raanana doubled their advantage after the restart with a move that reflected their control of the game. A patient build-up drew Netanya out of position, and the finishing chance was taken with composure. The third goal followed later in the second half, effectively ending any hope of a comeback.

Bnot Netanya did force a few saves and won a handful of set pieces, but they could not find the goal that would have changed the mood of the contest. Raanana’s goalkeeper and centre-backs dealt with the danger calmly, preserving the clean sheet and keeping the team’s shape intact until full time.

Tactical story

The match was a clear demonstration of Raanana’s ability to control territory. Their midfield won the majority of loose balls and recycled possession efficiently, while the wide players ensured the attack did not become too central. That balance made it difficult for Bnot Netanya to close down every passing lane.

Netanya’s defensive approach required discipline and concentration, but once the first goal went in, the game became more open. Raanana used that space well and attacked with numbers when the opportunity arose. Their decision-making in the final third was the difference between the teams.

Standout performers and season impact

Raanana’s attacking players shared the responsibility well, and the team’s overall performance was built on a strong collective display rather than one individual moment. The clean sheet was equally important, highlighting the defence’s focus and the midfield’s willingness to track back.

The 3-0 win strengthens Hapoel Raanana Women’s position in the Israel Women’s First National and gives them useful momentum. For Bnot Netanya Women, the result highlights the need for greater defensive compactness and more reliable possession in midfield. Raanana will aim to carry the same intensity into their next fixture, while Netanya will look to respond with a more resilient performance.
