Hapoel Yarka had the better of the early exchanges, with their striker forcing a smart save from the Beitar goalkeeper. Beitar grew into the game and began to control possession, but the first half ended goalless. The second half was more open, and the deadlock was finally broken in the 67th minute.

• 89' – Late drama: Hapoel Yarka nearly equalized with a free-kick that clipped the top of the crossbar.

Tactical Analysis

Hapoel Yarka set up in a 4-3-3, looking to use width to stretch Beitar's defense. However, Beitar's 4-4-2 mid-block proved difficult to break down. Beitar conceded possession but remained compact, forcing Yarka into hopeful crosses. Beitar's goal came from a quick counter-attack, exploiting the space left by Yarka's advanced full-backs. After scoring, Beitar dropped deeper and defended their lead with determination.

Standout Performers

Omer Levi was the match-winner for Beitar Nahariya, showing composure to score the only goal. Beitar's goalkeeper also deserves praise for a series of saves, particularly in the first half. For Hapoel Yarka, their captain and center-back was a standout, winning numerous tackles and headers, but his effort was in vain.

Cup Impact

Beitar Nahariya progress to the next round of the Israel Cup, where they will face either a higher-division opponent or a fellow lower-league side. For Hapoel Yarka, the focus now shifts back to their league campaign, where they will look to bounce back from this disappointing exit. The cup run provided valuable experience for their squad.
