SC Shicun Hamizrah produced one of the most emphatic performances of the Israel C League season, dismantling Bnei Eilat 6-0 in a one-sided contest that underlined the gap in quality between the two sides. A first-half blitz set the tone, and the home team never relented, adding three more goals after the break to complete a ruthless rout.

Match Overview

From the opening minutes, SC Shicun Hamizrah played with intensity and purpose. They pressed Bnei Eilat high up the pitch, forced turnovers in dangerous areas, and attacked with numbers. The visitors had no answer to the home side’s movement and were repeatedly carved open through the channels. By the 25th minute, the score was already 3-0, and the result was never in doubt thereafter.

Bnei Eilat, who came into the match hoping to climb away from the lower reaches of the table, were overwhelmed. Their defensive line sat too deep, and their midfield struggled to retain possession, leaving the forwards starved of service. SC Shicun Hamizrah, by contrast, looked sharp in every phase of play, combining quick passing with direct running to devastating effect.

Key Moments

• 7’ — Goal: Itay Ben Hamo opens the scoring with a low drive into the bottom corner.
• 14’ — Goal: Yonatan Levy doubles the lead after a swift counterattack.
• 22’ — Goal: Ben Hamo taps in his second from a delightful cross.
• 51’ — Goal: Shalev Cohen adds a fourth with a header from a corner.
• 68’ — Goal: Ben Hamo completes his hat-trick with a composed finish.
• 84’ — Goal: Levy grabs his second and the team’s sixth with a curling effort.

Tactical Story

SC Shicun Hamizrah set up in a 4-2-3-1 that prioritised width and penetration. Their full-backs overlapped constantly, while the attacking midfielders drifted inside to create numerical advantages in central areas. The front four pressed in unison, forcing Bnei Eilat into hurried clearances that were quickly recycled. The home team’s transitions were particularly devastating — every regained ball seemed to spark a goal-scoring opportunity.

Bnei Eilat tried to stem the tide by dropping into a 5-3-2 after the third goal, but the change only invited more pressure. Their attempts to play out from the back were often intercepted, and their few forward forays lacked support. The match became a damage-limitation exercise long before the final whistle, and SC Shicun Hamizrah’s intensity never dropped, even at 6-0.

Standout Players

• Itay Ben Hamo (SC Shicun Hamizrah): A hat-trick hero, his movement and finishing were exemplary.
• Yonatan Levy (SC Shicun Hamizrah): Scored twice and provided two assists in a dominant display.
• Shalev Cohen (SC Shicun Hamizrah): Controlled the midfield and scored a well-taken header.
• Eitan Almog (Bnei Eilat): The goalkeeper made several saves to prevent an even heavier defeat.

Table and Season Impact

The six-goal victory strengthens SC Shicun Hamizrah’s position in the upper half of the Israel C League standings, boosting their goal difference significantly and sending a warning to their promotion rivals. For Bnei Eilat, the defeat leaves them rooted near the bottom of the table and raises serious questions about their defensive organisation. With the season still young, there is time to recover, but performances like this will need to become a distant memory quickly if they are to avoid a relegation battle.

SC Shicun Hamizrah’s fans will remember this as the night their team clicked in every department. From the first goal to the sixth, the hosts played with confidence, creativity, and a killer instinct that suggests they could be a team to watch in the coming months. Bnei Eilat, meanwhile, must regroup and find a response before their next fixture.
