From the opening whistle, Maccabi Isfiya pressed high and moved the ball quickly, forcing Kfar Yona into a series of defensive errors. The visitors struggled to cope with the pace of the home side's front three, and the scoreline reflected the balance of play.

First-Half Breakthrough

Maccabi Isfiya took the lead in the 12th minute when Yonatan Levy latched onto a through ball and finished low into the bottom corner. The home side doubled their advantage in the 34th minute through Omer Biton, who headed home from a well-delivered corner. Kfar Yona briefly threatened on the counter, but Isfiya's goalkeeper was alert to keep the visitors off the scoresheet before half-time.

Second-Half Surge

Any hopes of a Kfar Yona comeback were extinguished early in the second half. In the 58th minute, Yonatan Levy grabbed his second goal of the night, finishing off a sweeping team move that cut through the away defence. Kfar Yona pulled one back in the 71st minute when Roi Avraham converted a penalty, but it proved only a consolation. Eliad Mizrahi restored the three-goal cushion in the 82nd minute with a composed finish from inside the box, sealing a 4-1 victory.

Key Performers

• Yonatan Levy (Maccabi Isfiya): Scored twice and was a constant menace with his runs in behind.
• Omer Biton (Maccabi Isfiya): Dominated the aerial battle and added a goal from a set piece.
• Eliad Mizrahi (Maccabi Isfiya): Added the fourth goal and controlled the midfield tempo.
• Roi Avraham (Maccabi Ironi Kfar Yona): Scored the consolation penalty and worked hard throughout.

Tactical Analysis

Maccabi Isfiya lined up in a 4-3-3, with the wingers stretching Kfar Yona's back four and the midfield trio winning second balls. Their high press forced numerous turnovers in dangerous areas, and they converted those moments into goals. Kfar Yona, using a 4-4-2, struggled to build from the back and often resorted to long balls that were comfortably dealt with by Isfiya's centre-backs.

The home side's movement off the ball was particularly impressive. Levy's runs created space for Biton and Mizrahi, while the full-backs provided width and overlapping runs. Kfar Yona's defensive line sat too deep at times, inviting pressure, and their midfield could not track the late runs into the box.

League Implications

This 4-1 win strengthens Maccabi Isfiya's position in the Israel C League table and sends a warning to their promotion rivals. The three points will boost confidence ahead of a demanding run of fixtures. For Maccabi Ironi Kfar Yona, the defeat highlights defensive issues that must be addressed quickly if they are to climb away from the lower reaches of the standings.

Maccabi Isfiya's attacking output on the night was the story of the match. Four goals, a dominant performance, and a comfortable margin of victory made it a statement result in the Israel C League. Kfar Yona, meanwhile, will look to regroup and find solutions before their next outing.
