The result extends Maccabi’s strong home form, while Beitar are left to rue missed opportunities on the counter-attack.

Key Moments

• 18th minute – Beitar Kfar Saba Shlomi take the lead: Against the early momentum, the visitors struck first. A quick break down the right found Itay Peretz, who cut inside and curled a precise left-footed effort into the far corner, silencing the home support.
• 34th minute – Maccabi Bnei Jaljuliya equalise: The hosts upped the tempo and were rewarded when Amir Mansour latched onto a through-ball, rounded the goalkeeper, and slotted calmly into an empty net. It was no more than Maccabi deserved for their persistent pressure.
• 72nd minute – The winner: After a series of corners and half-chances, substitute Fadi Hamed became the hero. He met a deep cross at the back post with a powerful header that beat the Beitar goalkeeper at his near post, sending the home fans into raptures.

Tactical Story

Maccabi Bnei Jaljuliya set up in a fluid 4-2-3-1, looking to control possession through midfielders Ahmed Abu Sbeih and Yousef Badir. Their patience in build-up play contrasted with Beitar’s more direct approach. The visitors, lining up in a compact 4-4-2, were happy to sit deep and spring quick counter-attacks, a strategy that yielded the opening goal.

After the break, Maccabi’s manager made two attacking substitutions, pushing the full-backs higher and overloading the flanks. The move paid off as Beitar’s defence, which had been resilient, finally cracked under the sustained pressure. The hosts finished the match with 62% possession and 14 shots to Beitar’s 6, underlining their second-half control.

Standout Players

• Amir Mansour (Maccabi Bnei Jaljuliya): The forward was a constant menace, holding up the ball well and scoring the crucial equaliser. His movement off the shoulder of the last defender caused problems all afternoon.
• Fadi Hamed (Maccabi Bnei Jaljuliya): Introduced as a substitute, he changed the game with his energy and aerial threat. His 72nd-minute header proved to be the decisive moment.
• David Malka (Beitar Kfar Saba Shlomi): Despite being on the losing side, the Beitar goalkeeper made several fine saves, including a one-on-one stop in the first half, to keep his team in the contest.

Season Impact

The win lifts Maccabi Bnei Jaljuliya into a more comfortable mid-table position in the Israel C League, boosting their confidence ahead of a tricky away trip next week. For Beitar Kfar Saba Shlomi, the defeat leaves them searching for consistency, though their battling display suggests they will remain competitive in the lower reaches of the division. The head-to-head record now leans slightly in Maccabi’s favour, and both sides will meet again later in the campaign with revenge on Beitar’s mind.

Ultimately, this was a classic example of a home team refusing to buckle after an early setback. Maccabi Bnei Jaljuliya’s resilience and tactical flexibility earned them a deserved three points, while Beitar Kfar Saba Shlomi will reflect on a strong first-half display that they could not sustain. The Israel C League continues to deliver dramatic, hard-fought football, and this match was a perfect illustration of its competitive spirit.
