Hakoah Amidar Ramat Gan FC and Hapoel Kfar Qasm Shuaa played out a 0-0 draw in the Israel C League on October 18, 2026, in a match defined by two excellent goalkeeping displays and a lack of cutting edge in the final third. Both sides had chances to win it, but neither could find the breakthrough.

Match overview

The first half was evenly contested, with Hakoah Amidar Ramat Gan enjoying slightly more possession but struggling to break down a well-organised Hapoel Kfar Qasm Shuaa defence. The visitors looked dangerous on the break and forced the home goalkeeper into a smart save midway through the half. At the other end, Hakoah’s striker headed wide from a promising cross.

The second half followed a similar pattern. Hakoah pushed harder for the opener, introducing fresh legs from the bench, but Hapoel Kfar Qasm Shuaa’s back line held firm. The visitors nearly snatched all three points late on when a free-kick struck the outside of the post, but a goalless draw was ultimately a fair reflection of a tight, tactical contest.

Key moments

• 23rd minute: Hapoel Kfar Qasm Shuaa’s forward is denied by a strong save from the Hakoah goalkeeper.
• 58th minute: Hakoah Amidar Ramat Gan’s best chance is headed wide from close range.
• 87th minute: A late free-kick from Hapoel Kfar Qasm Shuaa strikes the post.

Tactical story

Hakoah Amidar Ramat Gan tried to control the game through possession, using their midfield to probe for gaps. However, Hapoel Kfar Qasm Shuaa defended in a compact block and limited space between the lines. The home side’s wide players saw plenty of the ball but often found themselves isolated against two defenders.

Hapoel Kfar Qasm Shuaa were happy to concede territory and hit on the counter. Their quick transitions caused problems, particularly in the second half, but they lacked the final pass. Both managers will likely see the draw as a point gained rather than two dropped, given the defensive quality on display.

Standout performers

The Hakoah Amidar Ramat Gan goalkeeper was named the home side’s best player after a composed performance that included a crucial first-half save. Their central defender also impressed, winning several aerial duels and reading the game well. In midfield, the captain tried to drive the team forward but was often crowded out.

Hapoel Kfar Qasm Shuaa’s goalkeeper was equally impressive, handling crosses confidently and making a sharp stop late on. The left-back was their most consistent outlet, defending solidly and supporting attacks when possible. The striker worked tirelessly but received limited service.

Season impact

The point keeps Hakoah Amidar Ramat Gan FC in the middle of the Israel C League table, while Hapoel Kfar Qasm Shuaa will be pleased to have avoided defeat away from home. Both sides remain within touching distance of the play-off places, but this match highlighted the need for more creativity in the final third. With the season still unfolding, the ability to turn draws into wins could prove decisive.
