Match overview

Mes Kerman enjoyed more possession in the first half but found it difficult to break down a compact Shenavar Sazi Qeshm defense. The hosts sat deep, limited space between the lines, and looked to strike through quick transitions and set pieces.

As the match progressed, Shenavar Sazi Qeshm grew more confident. Their winning goal came after a period of sustained pressure, and from that point they managed the game with maturity, clearing crosses and slowing the tempo when needed.

Key moments

• 18th minute: Mes Kerman created the first clear chance, but a header from a cross was saved comfortably.
• 63rd minute: Shenavar Sazi Qeshm scored the breakthrough goal when Farid Nazari connected with a low ball into the box and guided it past the goalkeeper.
• 79th minute: Mes Kerman pushed numbers forward, but the home goalkeeper produced a strong save to protect the lead.
• 88th minute: A goal-line clearance from a Shenavar defender denied Mes Kerman an equalizer in the closing stages.

Tactical story

Shenavar Sazi Qeshm’s game plan was built on defensive discipline and rapid counterattacks. The midfield stayed compact, forcing Mes Kerman to circulate the ball sideways rather than penetrate centrally. When the hosts won possession, they moved the ball forward quickly and targeted the space behind the visiting full-backs.

Mes Kerman’s best moments came from wide deliveries and second balls, but they lacked a finishing touch in the final third. The home side’s back line stayed organized under late pressure, and the goalkeeper’s late save proved decisive.

Standout performers

Nazari’s winning goal was the obvious highlight, but the Shenavar Sazi Qeshm center-backs deserved credit for their composure. The goalkeeper also delivered a focused performance, making key interventions when Mes Kerman increased the intensity late on.

Season impact

The result gives Shenavar Sazi Qeshm three hard-earned points and reinforces the value of their defensive structure in the Azadegan League. Mes Kerman will be frustrated to leave empty-handed after creating enough possession to suggest they could have taken something from the game. Both sides now turn their attention to the next round, with Qeshm looking to build on a disciplined home win and Kerman aiming to convert territory into goals.
