Bulgarian Second League side Yantra Gabrovo held Fratria to a 1-1 draw in an even preseason friendly played at the Stadion Hristo Botev. Both teams fielded mixed line-ups, giving valuable playing time to squad players and trialists.

How the Game Unfolded

Yantra started the brighter of the two sides, pressing high and creating several half-chances. Their pressure paid off in the 23rd minute when left-back Georgi Angelov burst into the box and fired a low shot across the goalkeeper and into the far corner. Fratria responded well, equalising ten minutes later through a well-worked team goal: a swift passing move ended with forward Dimitar Petrov slotting home from close range.

The second half was more cautious, with both defences on top. Yantra introduced several U21 players, and Fratria made eight changes over the course of the game. The match petered out into a stalemate, though both sides came close to a winner – Yantra hit the crossbar from a free-kick, and Fratria had a goal disallowed for offside.
