Goals, comebacks, and late drama: the friendly between Świt Szczecin and Flota Świnoujście at the Stadion Miejski in Szczecin had everything except empty seats. The home side eventually triumphed 3–2 in a lively encounter that showcased both attacking promise and defensive frailties.

Świt, competing in the Polish III Liga (fourth tier), started brightly and took the lead in the 12th minute. Striker Kacper Niedźwiecki latched onto a through ball, rounded the goalkeeper, and slotted home. But Flota, a team from the neighbouring city of Świnoujście playing in the same league, responded swiftly. Midfielder Bartosz Mazurkiewicz equalised in the 28th minute with a fierce volley from the edge of the box.

The match turned just before half‑time. A defensive miscommunication allowed Flota's Damian Kubicki to steal the ball and chip it over the onrushing goalkeeper, making it 2–1 to the visitors. Świt pushed forward in the second half, and their pressure paid off. In the 64th minute, winger Mateusz Szymański curled a free‑kick into the top corner to level the score.

With the game poised at 2‑2, both sides went for the win. Świt's substitute forward Jakub Kowalczyk became the hero in the 83rd minute, bundling home a rebound after a corner kick. Flota pushed for a late equaliser but were denied by goalkeeper Kamil Staszewski, who made two excellent saves in stoppage time.

Świt Szczecin’s 3‑2 victory not only entertained the fans but also gave coach Marcin Kaczmarek plenty of tactical observations ahead of the season. For Flota, the narrow defeat highlighted the need for better concentration in set‑piece situations.
