SCU Torreense put on a stunning attacking display to thrash Academica Coimbra 5–0 in an international club friendly at home on 15 July 2026. The comprehensive victory gave the Portuguese side a major confidence boost ahead of the upcoming competitive season, while Academica will look to regroup after a heavy defeat.

Torreense were on the front foot from the opening whistle, pressing high and moving the ball with pace and purpose.
