Rodange 91 produced a dominant display to thrash Luxembourg neighbours Mamer 4‑0 in a pre‑season friendly at the Stade Jos Philippart. The home side were in control from the first whistle, pressing high and forcing errors in the Mamer defence. The opening goal arrived after just eight minutes, when a low cross from the right was turned home at the near post.

Rodange doubled their lead midway through the first half, capitalising on a defensive lapse to slot home from six yards. The third goal came shortly before the break, a powerful header from a corner that left the Mamer goalkeeper rooted to the spot. The second half offered more of the same, with Rodange adding a fourth from a well‑worked free‑kick routine in the 67th minute.

Mamer rarely threatened and were fortunate not to concede further, as Rodange hit the woodwork twice late on. For Rodange, this friendly provides a morale‑boosting result ahead of the new season, while Mamer will need to tighten up defensively before their league campaign begins.
