KS Wieczysta Kraków won a remarkable seven-goal friendly 4-3 against Puszcza Niepołomice on Friday, 2 October 2026, in a match that swung violently between the two sides and produced more entertainment in ninety minutes than most fixtures manage in a month.

A Breathless Opening

The tone was set inside the first ten minutes. Wieczysta moved the ball sharply from the kick-off, working an opening down the right and finishing clinically to take an early 1-0 lead. The home crowd, already in good voice, sensed a comfortable afternoon.

Puszcza had other ideas. Their response was swift and emphatic — two goals in quick succession, the first from a deflected strike outside the box and the second from a well-taken header at the back post, suddenly putting the visitors 2-1 ahead.

The Game Turns Again

Rather than fold, Wieczysta reasserted themselves before the break. A driving run through the middle drew a foul on the edge of the area, and the resulting free-kick was curled beautifully into the top corner to level at 2-2. Minutes later, a quick counter-attack down the left produced a third, restoring the home lead at 3-2 going into half-time.

Four goals in a single half would have satisfied most neutrals. The second half had more to give.

Second Half: Chaos and a Late Winner

Puszcza came out with renewed purpose and equalised for the second time in the match. A long ball over the top caught the Wieczysta defence flat-footed, and the finish was ruthlessly dispatched to make it 3-3. At that point, either side could have won it.

• Total goals: Seven — the standout scoreline of the day's friendlies.
• Lead changes: Wieczysta led three times; Puszcza twice levelled.
• Decisive moment: A late winner settled a match that refused to calm down.

The decisive goal arrived in the closing stages. A scramble in the penalty area ended with the ball falling kindly to a Wieczysta attacker, who stabbed it home from close range to complete the 4-3 victory and spark wild celebrations on the touchline.

Tactical Story

This was not a night for defensive discipline. Both teams committed numbers forward at every opportunity, and the transitions were frequent enough to leave both back fours badly exposed. Wieczysta's midfield pushed extremely high, which generated their attacking threat but also invited the counters that Puszcza converted twice.

Puszcza's plan centred on the long ball into the channels, and it worked repeatedly against a high defensive line. What cost them was their own vulnerability in wide areas, where Wieczysta found space again and again.

Standout Performers

Wieczysta's attacking unit shared the goals around, which is exactly what a coach wants to see in a friendly. The free-kick taker deserves particular credit for a moment of genuine quality in an otherwise chaotic contest, and the late match-winner showed the kind of predatory instinct that decides tight games.

For Puszcza, the forward who scored twice was a constant menace, holding the ball up well and running the channels intelligently. Their goalkeeper, however, will not want to rewatch the tape.

What the Result Means

Wieczysta Kraków 4-3 Puszcza Niepołomice is the kind of scoreline that gets shared around, and it underlined the ambition both clubs are carrying into the season. For Wieczysta, it is a morale-boosting win built on resilience — twice pegged back, and still finding a way. For Puszcza, it is a reminder that scoring three away from home should never end in defeat.

Friendlies are for fine-tuning, and both managers will have seen plenty to correct defensively. But as a spectacle, this one delivered everything: goals, momentum swings, individual brilliance, and a finish nobody in the ground will forget in a hurry.
