Cray Wanderers 3–1 Folkestone Invicta – Wands Impress at Hayes Lane

Cray Wanderers continued their pre-season preparations with a convincing 3–1 victory over Folkestone Invicta at Hayes Lane on July 15. The Isthmian League rivals used the friendly to test their squad depth, and it was the home side who came out on top after a strong second-half display.

The first half ended goalless, with both teams feeling each other out. Cray broke the deadlock shortly after the restart when a corner was flicked on and bundled home. Folkestone responded quickly, equalising through a well-worked move that ended with a low finish across the goalkeeper.
