Tactical Story

Ramthar Veng's attacking plan was built on quick transitions and wide overloads. Their full-backs pushed high, allowing the wingers to drift inside and combine with the central striker. That movement caused constant problems for Mizoram Police, especially in the first half when the hosts dictated the tempo.

Mizoram Police improved after switching to a more aggressive midfield press. They won more second balls and forced Ramthar Veng deeper, but the hosts' decision to protect the central corridor in the final 15 minutes proved crucial. Police created half-chances, yet Ramthar Veng's defensive block held firm when it mattered most.

Standout Players

Lalrinchhana's early goal set the tone for Ramthar Veng, while Vanlalthlanga and Zothanpuia also made decisive contributions in the final third. In midfield, Ramthar Veng's captain controlled the rhythm and helped the team regroup during Police's comeback. For Mizoram Police, Lalbiakdika was a constant threat, and H. Lalhmingmawia's late header underlined their fighting spirit.

Season Impact and Table Outlook

The victory gives Ramthar Veng valuable momentum in the Indian Mizoram Premier League and strengthens their position in the race for a high finish. Scoring three goals against a disciplined Police side will boost confidence, though the coaching staff will want a tighter defensive finish in future matches.

Mizoram Police leave with no points but plenty of encouragement from their second-half fightback. In a league known for its intensity and local rivalries, both teams will take lessons from a five-goal contest that entertained from the first whistle to the last.
