Deltras Sidoarjo U20 hit five in dominant win over Madura United U20

Deltras Sidoarjo U20 produced one of the standout performances of the Indonesian U20 Super League season with a commanding 5-0 victory over Madura United U20 at Stadion Gelora Delta on 24 October 2026. A brace from Rizky Pratama and further goals from Fajar Nugroho, Bagas Saputra, and substitute Dimas Anggara sealed a ruthless home display that underlined Deltras Sidoarjo's attacking quality and added significant value to their goal difference.

The match report reads as a complete team performance: Deltras Sidoarjo pressed aggressively from the first whistle, dominated midfield, and converted their chances with clinical efficiency. Madura United U20 struggled to cope with the intensity of the home side's high press and were punished repeatedly during a one-sided second half.

Match overview

Deltras Sidoarjo U20 set the tone inside the opening quarter-hour. Their midfield won second balls consistently, the full-backs pushed high, and Madura United U20 were forced into hurried clearances. The early pressure told in the 12th minute when Rizky Pratama pounced on a loose ball inside the penalty area and finished low into the corner.

The home side doubled their advantage just after the half-hour mark through Fajar Nugroho, whose well-timed run behind the defence was rewarded with a composed finish. Madura United U20 briefly steadied before the break, but they never found a foothold in the game and were limited to speculative efforts from distance.

Key moments

• 12' — Rizky Pratama opens the scoring after a sustained spell of Deltras Sidoarjo pressure.
• 31' — Fajar Nugroho doubles the lead with a calm finish after a quick attacking transition.
• 58' — Pratama adds his second, finishing off a flowing move down the right flank.
• 66' — Bagas Saputra makes it 4-0 with a powerful strike from the edge of the box.
• 84' — Substitute Dimas Anggara completes the rout with a close-range finish.

Madura United U20's best moment came shortly before the hour mark, when a free-kick forced a diving save from the Deltras Sidoarjo goalkeeper, but it was a rare bright spot on a difficult afternoon. The visitors' defence was stretched repeatedly by Deltras Sidoarjo's movement, and the scoreline could have been even more emphatic late on.

Tactical story

Deltras Sidoarjo U20's high press was the foundation of the win. Their forwards cut off passing lanes into midfield, forcing Madura United U20 into long balls that were comfortably reclaimed by the home defence. With possession secured, Deltras Sidoarjo attacked through quick combinations and aggressive runs from midfield, consistently creating overloads in wide areas.

Madura United U20 attempted to sit deeper after conceding the early goal, but the approach only invited more pressure. Deltras Sidoarjo's midfield dominance allowed them to recycle the ball quickly and sustain attacks, while the movement of Pratama and Nugroho pulled the visiting centre-backs out of position. By the time the fourth goal arrived, the contest was effectively over.

Standout players

Rizky Pratama was the match's standout performer, scoring twice and leading the line with intelligence and energy. Fajar Nugroho's movement and link-up play caused constant problems, while Bagas Saputra controlled the midfield and capped his display with a fine goal. Dimas Anggara made an immediate impact from the bench, and the Deltras Sidoarjo defensive unit deserves credit for a composed clean sheet.

The three points strengthen Deltras Sidoarjo U20's position in the Indonesian U20 Super League standings and give them a major boost in the goal-difference column. For Madura United U20, the result is a clear setback, and they will need a strong response in their next fixture. Deltras Sidoarjo, by contrast, will take huge confidence from a five-star performance that showcased both their attacking depth and their tactical discipline.
