However, FC Bekasi City defended in numbers and frustrated the hosts with a deep defensive block. The breakthrough finally arrived in the 78th minute when substitute winger Rizky Pratama cut inside from the left and curled a precise shot into the far corner. Bekasi City pushed for an equalizer in the dying minutes, but PSIS held firm to claim all three points.

Tactical Story

The introduction of Rizky Pratama added fresh impetus and his individual brilliance broke the deadlock. Bekasi City were organized but lacked a cutting edge on the counter, managing only a few speculative efforts on goal.

Standout Players

Rizky Pratama was the match-winner for PSIS, changing the game after coming off the bench. Central midfielder Bagas Adi controlled the tempo, while goalkeeper Satria Tama made a vital late save. For Bekasi City, captain Andri Irawan was a rock at the back, but his team's attacking players struggled to make an impact.

League Table Impact

PSIS Semarang keep pace with the league leaders and strengthen their promotion credentials. FC Bekasi City remain in mid-table, but they will be encouraged by their defensive resilience. The Liga 2 season is proving highly competitive, and this result highlights the fine margins between victory and defeat.
