Match Overview

Fehervar started on the front foot, pressing high and forcing Kazincbarcikai into early errors. The opening goal came in the 22nd minute after a sustained period of pressure. A clever pass into the channel released the forward, and a low finish across the goalkeeper made it 1-0. Kazincbarcikai attempted to respond, but Fehervar’s midfield won the majority of duels and kept the tempo high.

The second goal arrived in the 58th minute, shortly after half-time. Fehervar worked the ball patiently around the edge of the box before a well-timed run was found with a precise through ball. The finish was calm and decisive, effectively ending the contest. Fehervar added a third in the 83rd minute, capping a sweeping counterattack with a composed finish at the near post. Tactical Story

MOL Fehervar FC Women lined up with an aggressive 4-3-3, using their wide forwards to isolate Kazincbarcikai’s full-backs. The midfield trio controlled the centre, switching play quickly and creating overloads on both flanks. Kazincbarcikai BSC Women defended in a 4-4-2 block and tried to hit on the counter, but they were often forced backwards by Fehervar’s pressing. The visitors’ ability to win the ball back quickly was the foundation of their dominance.

Fehervar’s movement off the ball was particularly impressive. Strikers dropped deep to drag defenders out of position, while midfielders made late runs into the box. That fluidity made Kazincbarcikai’s marking assignments difficult to maintain. Although the hosts defended with commitment, they could not sustain possession long enough to relieve pressure. Fehervar’s goalkeeper was rarely tested, and the clean sheet was a fair reflection of the overall control.

Standout Players

The Fehervar forward line was the difference. The striker who opened the scoring led the press intelligently and brought others into play, while the wide players contributed pace and directness. The attacking midfielder dictated the tempo and provided the assist for the second goal. In defence, Fehervar’s centre-backs were composed, winning aerial duels and stepping out to intercept passes. For Kazincbarcikai, the goalkeeper deserved credit for a string of saves, and the captain worked tirelessly in midfield despite the difficult scoreline.
