Haladas took the lead in the 22nd minute when Bence Kovács finished neatly after a well-worked move down the left. Puskas Akademia II responded with a more direct approach and equalised in the 38th minute through Ádám Tóth, who capitalised on a loose ball inside the box.

Match Overview

Haladas regained the initiative after half-time and restored their lead in the 67th minute when Márton Szabó headed home from a corner. At that stage, the home side looked likely to see out the game, but Puskas Akademia II kept pushing men forward and found a late leveller through Levente Nagy. The visitors’ bench erupted as Nagy’s strike went in, while Haladas were left to rue missed chances earlier in the second half.

Tactical Story

Haladas built their game around possession and patient build-up, with their midfield dictating the tempo and their wide players stretching the Puskas Akademia II defence. The home side’s pressing was effective in the first half, forcing errors and creating chances. However, they were less ruthless after the break and allowed their opponents to stay within touching distance.

Puskas Akademia II defended in a deep block for long periods but grew more adventurous as the game wore on. Their substitutes made an impact, adding fresh legs in midfield and allowing them to press higher in the final 15 minutes. The late goal came from exactly that pressure, as Haladas failed to clear their lines and Nagy punished them with a low finish.

Standout Performers

Bence Kovács was a constant threat for Haladas, linking play well and scoring the opening goal. Márton Szabó also impressed with his aerial presence and leadership at the back. For Puskas Akademia II, Levente Nagy was the hero with the late equaliser, while Ádám Tóth worked tirelessly and took his first-half chance well.

What the Result Means

Puskas Akademia II will take confidence from their fighting spirit and their ability to score late. In the race for promotion and playoff positions in Nemzeti Bajnoksug III, every point matters, and this result could prove important for both sides by the end of the season.
