DEAC delivered a dominant away performance to beat Salgotarjani Baratok TC 4-1 in their Hungary Nemzeti Bajnokság III fixture on October 10, 2026. The visitors were ruthless in front of goal, scoring three times before half-time and adding a fourth after the break to secure a statement victory.

Match Overview

Salgotarjani Baratok TC came into the match hoping to use home advantage, but they were undone by DEAC’s high pressing and quick transitions. The away side took control from the opening whistle, moving the ball with purpose and exploiting gaps in the home defence. By the time the first half ended, DEAC had already built a commanding lead, and although Salgotarjani pulled one back after the restart, the visitors restored their three-goal cushion to run out comfortable winners.

The result underlined DEAC’s attacking quality and left Salgotarjani with plenty of defensive questions to answer. The home supporters stayed behind their team, but the gulf in finishing on the night was clear.

Key Moments

• 9th minute: DEAC opened the scoring when Bence Varga latched onto a loose ball and fired a low shot into the net.
• 27th minute: A swift counter-attack doubled the lead, with Máté Kiss finishing calmly after being played through one-on-one.
• 38th minute: DEAC made it 3-0 as Varga grabbed his second, heading home from a precise cross.
• 54th minute: Salgotarjani Baratok TC pulled one back through a penalty converted by Attila Nagy.
• 76th minute: DEAC sealed the win when substitute Dániel Tóth curled a shot into the far corner.

Tactical Story

DEAC set up in a 4-3-3 and pressed aggressively, denying Salgotarjani time on the ball in midfield. Their front three rotated constantly, creating confusion for the home defence, and their midfield trio won the majority of second balls. Salgotarjani tried to play out from the back, but repeated turnovers allowed DEAC to launch wave after wave of attacks.

After the break, Salgotarjani switched to a more direct approach and were rewarded with a penalty, but DEAC responded by dropping their defensive line slightly and hitting on the counter. The visitors’ game management in the final 20 minutes was excellent, and they never looked like surrendering their advantage.

Standout Players

Bence Varga was the obvious star for DEAC, scoring twice and leading the line with intelligence and physicality. Máté Kiss controlled the tempo in midfield and added a well-taken goal, while Dániel Tóth made an instant impact from the bench. For Salgotarjani, Attila Nagy was one of the few bright spots, converting his penalty and trying to drive his team forward, but the home defence struggled to contain DEAC’s movement all evening.

Season Impact

DEAC move into a strong position in the NB III table with this victory, reinforcing their credentials as promotion contenders. The three points and the manner of the performance will boost confidence ahead of a busy run of fixtures. Salgotarjani Baratok TC, meanwhile, remain in the lower half and will need to tighten up defensively if they are to climb away from trouble.
