Match overview

• Competition: Hungary Nemzeti Bajnokság III
• Fixture: Hajdunanas vs Tiszafured VSE
• Date: 25 October 2026
• Final score: Hajdunanas 2-1 Tiszafured VSE

How the match unfolded

Hajdunanas took the lead in the 18th minute after a patient build-up down the left. The ball was worked into the penalty area, and a composed finish gave the home side the advantage. They continued to look the more purposeful team for much of the first half, pressing Tiszafured VSE into mistakes and creating several half-chances from wide areas.

Tiszafured VSE stayed in the contest, though, and their response after the break was strong. In the 51st minute, they equalised with a well-timed run into the box and a finish that left the goalkeeper with little chance. The goal changed the mood of the game, and for a spell the visitors looked the more likely side to score next.

Hajdunanas weathered that pressure and began to regain control in the final 20 minutes. The decisive moment arrived in the 83rd minute when a cross from the right was met with a determined run and a close-range finish. Tiszafured VSE pushed for a second equaliser in the closing minutes, but the home defence held firm to protect the 2-1 win.

Tactical story

Hajdunanas were organised and direct, looking to win the ball back quickly in midfield and attack through the channels. Their wide players were particularly important, stretching Tiszafured VSE’s back line and creating space for late runs into the box. The home side’s set-piece delivery also caused problems, even though the winning goal came from open play.

Tiszafured VSE grew into the game after a slow start and were at their best when they pressed higher up the pitch. Their equaliser came from exactly that kind of pressure, forcing Hajdunanas into a hurried clearance. However, the visitors struggled to maintain that intensity for the full 90 minutes, and the space they conceded in the final third ultimately proved costly.

Standout players and league impact

Hajdunanas’s midfielder was the driving force behind their best moves, combining energy with composure in possession. The match-winner deserves credit for timing his run into the box, while the home goalkeeper handled several crosses well under pressure. For Tiszafured VSE, the equaliser was a reward for their improved second-half display, but the defensive lapse for the winner will frustrate the coaching staff.

In the Nemzeti Bajnokság III standings, this is the kind of result that can matter greatly over the course of a season. Hajdunanas add three points and another strong home performance to their record, while Tiszafured VSE leave with nothing despite a battling display. The final score of 2-1 reflects a match decided by small margins, late running and the ability to stay calm in the decisive moments.
