ESMTK 3-0 Kispest Honvéd II: Dominant First-Half Display Delivers NB III Home Win

ESMTK powered to a convincing 3-0 victory over Kispest Honvéd II in Hungary’s Nemzeti Bajnokság III on 11 October 2026. A blistering first-half performance put the hosts in complete control, and they managed the game expertly after the break to claim all three points.

The 19:00 kick-off saw ESMTK set the tone immediately, pressing high and moving the ball quickly. Kispest Honvéd II, a young side with plenty of technical ability, could not match the hosts’ intensity in the opening half hour and were punished for their early mistakes.

Match Overview

ESMTK needed only nine minutes to open the scoring. Bence Tóth latched onto a loose ball in the box and fired low past the goalkeeper. The early goal gave the hosts confidence, and they doubled their lead in the 27th minute when Dávid Nagy finished a flowing team move with a precise strike into the bottom corner.

Kispest Honvéd II tried to settle, showing flashes of neat combination play in midfield, but they were repeatedly beaten to the second ball. ESMTK’s third goal arrived in the 63rd minute, effectively ending the contest. Márk Szabó broke through on the right and slotted home after a quick counter-attack.

From there, ESMTK controlled the tempo. They kept a compact shape, allowed Honvéd II possession in harmless areas, and rarely looked troubled. The visitors’ goalkeeper made several saves to prevent a heavier defeat, but the home side’s dominance was clear from start to finish.

Tactical Story

ESMTK deployed a 4-2-3-1 and pressed aggressively in the first half, forcing Honvéd II into long passes that were easily contested. Their two central midfielders dominated the middle third, while the wide players attacked the spaces behind the full-backs. The result was a steady stream of chances and three goals before the visitors could adjust.

Kispest Honvéd II used a 4-3-3 and tried to play out from the back, but ESMTK’s pressure made that difficult. After the break, the away side improved slightly and kept more possession, yet they lacked a cutting edge in the final third. ESMTK, content with their lead, dropped their defensive line slightly and protected the clean sheet.

Standout Performers

ESMTK’s attacking trio were all influential: Tóth for his early breakthrough, Nagy for his composed finish, and Szabó for his pace on the break. The central defensive partnership also deserved credit for a disciplined clean sheet. For Kispest Honvéd II, the goalkeeper prevented a more lopsided scoreline, while their left winger was the most lively outlet going forward.

What the Result Means

The 3-0 win strengthens ESMTK’s position in Nemzeti Bajnokság III and adds valuable momentum to their season. Kispest Honvéd II remain a development-focused side and will take lessons from a difficult away afternoon. For ESMTK, the performance was a statement: ruthless in the first half, professional in the second, and fully deserving of all three points.
