DEAC delivered a strong away performance in the Nemzeti Bajnokság III on 17 October 2026, defeating Eger SE 3-1. The 19:00 kick-off saw DEAC control large spells of the match, answer an early setback and finish with a comfortable margin that underlined their quality in the final third.

Match overview

Eger SE started brightly and tried to use home advantage to set the tone, but DEAC quickly found their rhythm. The visitors pressed intelligently, won the ball back in useful areas and created problems with their movement between the lines. Eger’s defence was kept busy, and the home side struggled to build sustained attacks of their own.

As the match progressed, DEAC’s control became more pronounced. They managed the tempo well, slowed the game when needed and accelerated through midfield when space opened up. Eger SE remained competitive but found it difficult to break down a well-organised visiting defence.

Key moments

• Eger SE had promising moments early on, but DEAC grew into the game and began to dictate possession.
• DEAC opened the scoring with a well-timed attacking move that split the home defence.
• A second goal before half-time gave the visitors a strong advantage and forced Eger to chase the match.
• Eger pulled one back after the break, briefly raising hopes of a comeback.
• DEAC restored their two-goal cushion with a decisive third goal, ending the home side’s resistance.

Tactical story

DEAC’s win was built on midfield superiority and clinical finishing. Their central players were comfortable in possession, and their forwards made clever runs to drag the Eger back line out of position. The visitors also defended well as a unit, closing down space and forcing Eger into sideways passes.

Eger SE had spells of pressure, particularly after their goal, but they could not maintain it. DEAC’s ability to regain control after conceding was the key difference. The visitors’ substitutions also helped them manage the closing stages, adding energy and helping to protect the lead.

Standout performers and table impact

DEAC’s attacking players were sharp throughout, with the forward line combining well and taking their chances when they arrived. The midfield provided the platform with strong pressing and tidy distribution, while the defence stood firm when Eger pushed forward in search of an equaliser.

The 3-1 victory is an important result in the Nemzeti Bajnokság III and gives DEAC momentum for the matches ahead. For Eger SE, the defeat highlights the need for greater consistency in both boxes. DEAC will be pleased with the control they showed away from home and will look to build on a performance that had quality in possession and cutting edge in front of goal.
