Tactical story

Dinamo Maksimir’s attacking approach was built on width and quick rotations. Their wingers stayed high, stretching the Međimurje back line, while the midfielders timed their runs into the box effectively. The home side also won the ball back quickly after losing possession, preventing the visitors from building any rhythm.

ŽNK Međimurje-Čakovec defended in a deep block for much of the match, but the pressure eventually told. Their best chances came from set pieces and rare counter-attacks, though they were unable to test the Dinamo goalkeeper consistently.

Standout performers

Dinamo’s midfield controlled the game from start to finish, combining energy with composed passing. The forward line was sharp and unselfish, and the defensive unit deserves credit for maintaining concentration despite the comfortable scoreline. For Međimurje, the goalkeeper was one of the busiest players on the pitch and made several saves to keep the deficit from growing further.
