Tactical Story

The game was a battle between Iraklis’s patient build-up and Volos’s counter-attacking discipline. Iraklis’s midfield trio dictated tempo but lacked penetration in the final third. The decisive factor was Volos’s ruthlessness in front of goal – they scored with their only two shots on target.

Nikos Papadopoulos (Volos Nps U19): The winger was a constant threat, assisting both goals with incisive runs and delivery. Dimitris Alexiou (Volos Nps U19): The goalkeeper made three crucial saves, including a spectacular stop in the second half. For Iraklis, captain Petros Stavrou worked tirelessly in midfield but was often isolated.
