Tactical story

Trikala’s 4-3-3 shape caused problems throughout. The wide forwards stayed high and wide, forcing Digenis’ back line to defend stretched, while the midfield trio won most of the second balls. The home side’s pressing was well coordinated, and they repeatedly regained possession in dangerous areas.

The visitors improved slightly after the break, but the game was already slipping away, and Trikala’s fourth goal capped a thoroughly deserved victory.
