Tactical Story

TSV Kornburg set up in a 4-2-3-1 that suffocated Nördlingen’s build-up. The front four pressed in unison, forcing turnovers in dangerous areas. Julian Böhm was the creative hub, drifting between the lines and linking play with sharp one-twos. Nördlingen attempted to play out from the back but were repeatedly caught in possession.

Defensively, Kornburg kept a high line and squeezed the space, limiting Nördlingen to just four shots all match. The visitors’ midfield was overrun, and their defense had no answer to Krauß’s movement and finishing.

Standout Players

Maximilian Krauß was unstoppable, scoring three goals and constantly troubling the Nördlingen back line with his runs. He now sits among the top scorers in the German Bundesliga 5. Julian Böhm was equally impressive, providing two assists and dictating the tempo. Kevin Schmidt added a goal and controlled the midfield battle.

For Nördlingen, goalkeeper Patrick Meier made several saves to prevent an even heavier defeat, but he received little protection from his defense.

Standings Impact

TSV Kornburg climb the German Bundesliga 5 table and significantly improve their goal difference, boosting their promotion ambitions. TSV Nördlingen remain in trouble near the bottom and must regroup quickly to avoid being cut adrift. Kornburg’s next fixture will test whether this performance was a one-off or the start of a serious title charge.
