SV Vorwarts Nordhorn 0-5 Heeslinger SC — Heeslinger SC produced a ruthless away performance in the German Bundesliga 5 on September 20, 2026, dismantling SV Vorwarts Nordhorn with five unanswered goals and a clean sheet that underlined their promotion credentials.

Heeslinger Run Riot in Nordhorn

From the opening whistle, Heeslinger SC looked sharper, quicker and more decisive. The visitors pressed high, won second balls in midfield and turned possession into chances with impressive efficiency. By the time the first half reached its closing stages, the match already felt decided, with Nordhorn struggling to keep pace.

The result moves Heeslinger into a strong position in the Bundesliga 5 standings and delivers a significant boost to their goal difference. For Nordhorn, it is a damaging home defeat that leaves plenty of work to do in the coming weeks.

Match Overview

Heeslinger set the tone early, scoring inside the first quarter of an hour and refusing to let Nordhorn settle. The home side tried to respond through direct balls into the channels, but Heeslinger’s back line remained compact and alert. A second goal arrived before the half-hour mark, and a third just before the break effectively ended the contest.

After halftime, Nordhorn briefly pushed higher in search of a consolation goal, but that only created more space for Heeslinger to exploit. Two more goals in the second half completed a dominant 5-0 victory.

Key Moments

• 11’ — Marius Thiele opened the scoring with a low finish after a quick turnover in midfield.
• 29’ — Jan Kessler doubled the lead, converting a cross from the right with a composed first-time strike.
• 43’ — Finn Albrecht made it 3-0 before halftime, finishing a sweeping team move.
• 61’ — Thiele grabbed his second of the night, pouncing on a loose ball inside the box.
• 78’ — Niklas Ehlers rounded off the scoring with a powerful effort from the edge of the area.

Tactical Story

Heeslinger’s 4-2-3-1 shape worked perfectly. The two holding midfielders controlled the centre, while the wide attackers stretched Nordhorn’s defence and created overloads in the final third. Nordhorn’s attempts to play out from the back were repeatedly disrupted by Heeslinger’s coordinated press.

Once Heeslinger took the lead, they managed the game maturely. They did not chase unnecessary goals, but they remained dangerous on the counter and punished every defensive mistake. Nordhorn’s midfield struggled to track runners, and their back four was left exposed far too often.

Standout Players

Marius Thiele was the clear attacking star with two goals and constant movement. Jan Kessler and Finn Albrecht also impressed, combining creativity with end product. At the back, Heeslinger’s goalkeeper was rarely tested but commanded his area well, preserving a deserved clean sheet.

For Nordhorn, there were few positives. Their best moments came through set pieces, but they lacked the cutting edge to trouble the scoreboard. The team will need to improve defensively and find a way to respond when opponents press them aggressively.

Table Impact and What’s Next

This 5-0 win sends a clear message to the rest of the German Bundesliga 5: Heeslinger SC are serious contenders. The three points and the five-goal swing could prove valuable in the race for promotion or a top-half finish. Nordhorn, meanwhile, must regroup quickly and address the gaps that were exposed on home soil.

The head-to-head record now leans heavily in Heeslinger’s favour, and the away side will take confidence from a complete team performance. For neutral supporters, it was a match that highlighted the gap in quality on the night.
