SV Hemelingen secured a dominant 3-0 victory over Bremerhaven in their Bundesliga 5 clash at the Hemelingen Sportpark on a crisp October evening. The home side controlled the match from start to finish, with goals from Max Müller, Lukas Schmidt, and Jonas Weber sealing all three points.

Match Overview

From the opening whistle, Hemelingen pressed high and forced Bremerhaven into early mistakes. The visitors struggled to keep possession, and it was no surprise when the breakthrough arrived in the 12th minute. Müller latched onto a through ball from midfield, rounded the goalkeeper, and tapped into an empty net. Hemelingen doubled their lead in the 34th minute when Schmidt headed home a precise cross from the right. Bremerhaven's best chance came just before half-time, but a goal-line clearance kept the score 2-0. In the second half, Hemelingen continued to dominate, and Weber added a third in the 78th minute with a curling effort from the edge of the box.

Key Moments

• 12' — Max Müller opens the scoring after a quick counter-attack.
• 34' — Lukas Schmidt doubles the lead with a powerful header.
• 45+2' — Bremerhaven's best chance cleared off the line by Hemelingen defender Timo Kruse.

Tactical Story

Hemelingen set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with the two holding midfielders dictating the tempo and allowing the full-backs to push high. Bremerhaven tried to play out from the back but were constantly harried by Hemelingen's aggressive front line. The visitors switched to a 4-4-2 in the second half, but it only opened more space for Hemelingen's midfielders. The home side's pressing was relentless, and they won the ball back in dangerous areas time and again.

Standout Players

Max Müller was a constant threat with his pace and movement, while captain Lukas Schmidt led by example, scoring and creating chances. In defense, Timo Kruse made several crucial interventions, and goalkeeper Jan Petersen kept a clean sheet with a couple of smart saves. For Bremerhaven, only midfielder Erik Lehmann showed any real resistance, but he was often isolated.

Table and Season Impact

With this win, SV Hemelingen move up to third in the Bundesliga 5 standings, keeping pace with the early leaders. Bremerhaven remain in the lower half of the table and will need to regroup quickly. The three points are a significant boost for Hemelingen's promotion ambitions, while Bremerhaven face a tough run of fixtures ahead.
