Mahdov FC Impress in 3-0 Away Win at SG Union Klosterfelde

Mahdov FC produced a confident and efficient away performance in German Bundesliga 5 on October 17, 2026, winning 3-0 at SG Union Klosterfelde. The visitors scored at important moments, controlled midfield, and punished defensive mistakes to take all three points.

Klosterfelde began with ambition and tried to press high, but Mahdov FC remained calm on the ball and quickly turned defence into attack. Once the opening goal went in, the away side looked the more likely to score every time they moved forward.

Match Overview

Mahdov FC took the lead in the 7th minute when Adem Yilmaz found space between the centre-back and full-back and finished neatly past the goalkeeper. Klosterfelde tried to respond, but their build-up play was too slow, allowing Mahdov to regroup defensively.

The second goal arrived in the 29th minute. Kevin Braun intercepted a loose pass in midfield, drove forward, and struck a low shot from the edge of the box. Klosterfelde pushed more players forward after half-time, but Mahdov remained dangerous on the counter. The third goal came in the 72nd minute when Daniel Fischer converted a cross from the right, putting the result beyond doubt.

• 29th minute: Kevin Braun doubles the lead after intercepting a loose pass.

Tactical Story

Mahdov FC used a 4-2-3-1 and were excellent in central areas. Their midfield pair won the second balls and kept the ball moving quickly, while the attacking three rotated to create overloads. Klosterfelde’s defence struggled to track runners, especially when Mahdov switched play from one side to the other.

SG Union Klosterfelde lined up in a 4-3-3 but lacked penetration in the final third. Their wingers received the ball often, but the delivery into the box was inconsistent and easily defended. When they lost possession, they were slow to recover, which allowed Mahdov to attack space and create high-quality chances.

Standout Players

Adem Yilmaz was sharp throughout and deserved his early goal. Kevin Braun controlled the midfield and added a well-taken strike, while Daniel Fischer’s late goal capped a strong all-around display. For Klosterfelde, their goalkeeper made several saves to keep the score from becoming heavier, and their central midfielder showed good energy despite the defeat.

Season Impact

This 3-0 result strengthens Mahdov FC’s standing in the German Bundesliga 5 table and highlights their promotion credentials. Winning away from home with a clean sheet is a strong statement, especially in a competitive lower-league environment where every point matters. SG Union Klosterfelde remain in need of a response, particularly defensively, as they look to move away from the wrong end of the standings.
