SC Rot Weiss Maaslingen produced a strong attacking display to beat Adams Sam Beek 3-1 in German Bundesliga 5 on 18 October 2026, with a dominant second-half performance securing the win.

Match overview

SC Rot Weiss Maaslingen started quickly and took the lead inside the opening 10 minutes, setting the tone for an energetic home performance. Adams Sam Beek responded well, equalising midway through the first half and briefly threatening to take control of the contest.

After the break, however, Maaslingen raised their level. Two second-half goals gave them a comfortable cushion, and their defence managed the closing stages without allowing Adams Sam Beek a route back into the game.

Key moments

• 9th minute: Maaslingen opened the scoring with an early attack down the right and a confident finish at the near post.
• 32nd minute: Adams Sam Beek equalised after a quick move through midfield ended with a shot into the bottom corner.
• 61st minute: Maaslingen restored their lead with a header from a well-delivered corner.
• 79th minute: The home side sealed the points with a third goal, finishing off a flowing move with a low strike from inside the area.

Tactical story

Maaslingen’s pressing caused problems from the first whistle. They won the ball high up the pitch and attacked with purpose, often using the wings to stretch Adams Sam Beek’s defensive shape. The equaliser briefly disrupted their rhythm, but they regained control after half-time by moving the ball faster and committing more players into the box.

Adams Sam Beek had their moments, particularly during the period around their goal, but they struggled to sustain pressure. Maaslingen’s midfield won the key duels in the second half, and their set-piece threat added another dimension to an already dangerous attacking display.

Standout performers

The Maaslingen winger was a constant outlet, creating chances and stretching the opposing defence. The midfield pair controlled the tempo after the break, while the centre-back who scored from the corner delivered an important moment in a tight phase of the match. For Adams Sam Beek, the goalkeeper made several saves to keep the scoreline respectable.

Season impact

The three points lift SC Rot Weiss Maaslingen in the German Bundesliga 5 standings and underline their potential as a strong home side. Adams Sam Beek will be disappointed with the second-half goals conceded, but the first-half performance showed enough to suggest they can compete in the division despite the defeat.
