Holzhausen 0-3 Bahlinger: Clinical Bahlinger Cruise to Away Win

Bahlinger delivered a ruthless away performance in the German Bundesliga 5 on 17 October 2026, defeating Holzhausen 3-0 behind a composed display in both boxes. The visitors scored at key moments, defended their lead with discipline, and added further goals after the break to turn a competitive first half into a comfortable victory.

The 0-3 scoreline reflects Bahlinger’s superior cutting edge. Holzhausen had spells of possession and forced several corners, but they were unable to convert pressure into clear chances. Bahlinger, by contrast, were direct, organised, and clinical when opportunities arrived.

Match overview

Bahlinger took the lead in the 17th minute with their first meaningful attack. A turnover in midfield allowed the visitors to move the ball quickly into the final third, and a low finish gave Holzhausen’s goalkeeper no chance. The home side responded with energy and enjoyed a good spell before half-time, but Bahlinger’s back line held firm and limited them to shots from distance.

The second goal arrived early in the second half and changed the mood of the match. Bahlinger pressed high, forced a mistake near the penalty area, and doubled their advantage with a composed finish. Holzhausen pushed forward in search of a route back into the game, but that left space behind, and Bahlinger added a third in the 73rd minute to seal all three points.

Key moments

• 17th minute: Bahlinger take the lead with a low finish after a quick turnover.
• 39th minute: Holzhausen’s best chance of the first half is blocked inside the box.
• 52nd minute: Bahlinger double their lead after pressing high and forcing an error.
• 73rd minute: A fast counter-attack ends with the visitors’ third goal.

Tactical story

Bahlinger’s game plan was clear: press in the right moments, stay compact in midfield, and attack quickly when Holzhausen lost the ball. Their front line worked hard to close down passing lanes, while the midfield protected the centre-backs and prevented Holzhausen from playing through the middle. That structure forced the home side into wide areas and hopeful crosses.

Holzhausen’s build-up was patient but lacked penetration. They moved the ball side to side without consistently breaking Bahlinger’s defensive line, and their best opportunities came from second balls and set pieces. Once Bahlinger scored the second goal, Holzhausen had to commit more players forward, which only increased the space available for the visitors’ counter-attacks.

Standout performers

Bahlinger’s centre-forward was the focal point of the attack, holding up play and bringing runners into the game. The midfield controller set the tempo and was rarely rushed in possession, while the goalkeeper made one important first-half save to preserve the lead. For Holzhausen, the captain tried to drive the team forward from midfield, but the home side lacked the final pass needed to make their possession count.

What it means

Bahlinger leave with three points, a clean sheet, and a significant boost in confidence. The win strengthens their position in the league and shows they can manage games away from home. Holzhausen, meanwhile, will review a defeat that was built on small errors and missed chances. The challenge now is to recover quickly, tighten up defensively, and find more creativity in the final third before the next fixture.
