Hünfelder SV 0-2 Türk Gücü Friedberg: Away Side Take the Points in Bundesliga 5 Clash

Türk Gücü Friedberg claimed a 2-0 away win over Hünfelder SV in their German Bundesliga 5 fixture on 17 October 2026. Goals in each half gave the visitors a deserved victory, while Hünfelder SV were left frustrated after creating too little from their spells of possession.

The 21:00 kickoff was a competitive league encounter, but Türk Gücü Friedberg’s organisation and efficiency in the final third proved the difference. Hünfelder SV worked hard and had moments of promise, yet the away side’s defensive discipline kept the home attack largely under control.

Match Overview

The first half was closely contested. Hünfelder SV tried to build from the back and use the width of the pitch, but Türk Gücü Friedberg pressed intelligently and closed the central passing lanes. The visitors took the lead in the 28th minute when Emre Yilmaz found space between the centre-backs and finished with a low strike.

Hünfelder SV responded with a period of pressure before half-time, but they could not find a clear route through a well-drilled back line. Türk Gücü’s goalkeeper Serkan Aydin handled well under pressure and made a key save to preserve the lead going into the interval.

Key Moments

• 28th minute: Emre Yilmaz opens the scoring for Türk Gücü Friedberg with a low finish.
• 41st minute: Hünfelder SV’s Lukas Neumann forces a save from Serkan Aydin with a header.
• 63rd minute: Mert Kaya doubles the lead after a swift counterattack through midfield.
• 78th minute: Hünfelder SV push bodies forward, but the visitors defend resolutely.

Tactical Story

Türk Gücü Friedberg’s success came from their compact shape and quick transitions. They allowed Hünfelder SV to have the ball in less dangerous areas, then looked to strike on the break. Emre Yilmaz’s movement was difficult to track, and Mert Kaya’s energy in midfield helped the away side win second balls consistently.

Hünfelder SV tried to respond by pushing their full-backs forward and overloading the wide areas, but that strategy left them exposed to counters. The second goal arrived from exactly that scenario, with Türk Gücü breaking quickly before Mert Kaya supplied a composed finish.

Standout Players

Emre Yilmaz’s opening goal was the standout moment of the first half, and his movement caused problems throughout. Mert Kaya’s second-half strike capped a strong all-around performance, while goalkeeper Serkan Aydin’s save before the break proved crucial.

Hünfelder SV’s Lukas Neumann worked hard and had the home side’s best chance, while their central defenders dealt with a number of crosses admirably. Still, the home team lacked the final pass needed to turn pressure into goals.

What the Result Means

The win gives Türk Gücü Friedberg an important three points in the German Bundesliga 5 table and reinforces their ability to win on the road. Hünfelder SV remain with work to do after a home defeat, but the performance contained enough effort to suggest better results are possible if their attacking play becomes more efficient.
