Tactical Story

Mühlhausen tried to play long balls over the top, but Pforzheim’s centre-backs dealt with the aerial threat comfortably. The key to the game was Pforzheim’s ability to switch play quickly, isolating their wingers against Mühlhausen’s full-backs. The second goal came from a period of sustained pressure, and from that point, the visitors managed the game expertly.

Standout Players

Luca Bischof was the architect of the win, providing an assist and scoring a calmly taken penalty.
